Where to have Breakfast

Although we have left some free coffee for you and some snacks, I am sure you want to try an Italian breakfast. Typically our breakfast is not healthy as we tend to eat a lot of sweets, like croissants or the like, together with a coffee or a cappuccino (yes thing to know, never drink a cappuccino after lunch, it will piss off Italians 😂).

Lately, however, all bars and breakfast places have added other options to accomodate international tastes. Here’s our selection in our neighborhood.
L’île Douce
Our Favourite. L’île douce is an elegant and cozy French bistro located in the charming Isola district of Milan. With its intimate and warm atmosphere, it brings a touch of French sophistication to the heart of the city. Its croissants and pastries are the best you can find in Isola with a very wide selection and the personnel is extremely kind and nice. A must-go!
Fiuri
A tiny bar and a flower shop. A lovely place to start the day with the breakfast
Le Tre Chicchere
Family managed patisserie, a very nice place for breakfast, close to a beautiful church in the neighbourhood. Vegan options and a wide selection.
Momo
A colourful bar, in Piazza Minniti, where you can find the Tuesday and Saturday neighbourhood market. Especially recommended in spring and summer. It tends to get pretty crowded during weekends.
